By placing an order secured with a deposit you acknowledge and accept my T&Cs below: 👇
DEPOSITS: I require a £10 (£50 deposit for weddings and orders over £150) *NON REFUNDABLE deposit to secure your order, the remainder of the balance is due on or before collection. The deposit is non refundable unless there is a problem on my end and I am unable to fulfil your order however if you would like to make amendments the deposit can be transferred for another order (4 weeks notice required) dependant on availability but a further £10 deposit will need to be made.
ALLERGIES: It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to inform me upon ordering of any allergies/dietary requirements to ensure I can cater for you however due to working from my kitchen at home and handling all types of allergens I CANNOT rule out or guarantee it to be 100% ALLERGEN FREE I thoroughly clean and sterilise all work areas, equipment and utensils before any allergy/dietary requirement orders I also provide allergen labels with all orders !
COLLECTION: please keep to your arranged collection time, upon collection I will require you to sign a disclaimer form stating you accept the order and that there is no damage, once the order has left my property I cannot accept responsibility for any accidents/damage. I advise cakes to be placed on a clean, flat and even surface i.e in the car boot or footwell NOT placed on your lap or seat due to the structure/stability may be affected. I will advise on how to store and recommend consumption time
CHANGES: changes to the design of your order I require at least 4 weeks notice anything after this may incur extra charges.
CANCELLATION: if in the unfortunate event you need to cancel your order please advise me as soon as possible, your deposit is non refundable any remaining balance after this will be refunded if you have cancelled within 4 weeks of your order, or your order can be rearranged to an alternative date a further £10 deposit will be required (dependant on availability) COLOURS: due to the extensive range of makes of food colours I cannot guarantee colours to be exact however I will try my best to get it as close as possible, please be advised that on different screens/monitors colours can vary and look different to the original, and that food colourings and flavours may have an adverse effect on children.
NON EDIBLES: I will inform the customer on any non edibles that are in/on the cake I.e toppers, dowels, flowers etc.
WEATHER CONDITIONS: As we all know butter isn’t a great friend of the heat/sun so if I feel that cakes are at risk of melting, slipping, sliding etc I will make alternative arrangements to ensure the cake is stable this would include swapping buttercream for ganache I will inform you of this if I need to make the change. This still does not affect my storage/display advice. I reserve the right to photograph/video any orders on or before collection for my own reference or advertising unless otherwise agreed.
PRIVACY POLICY UPDATE : due to the new GDPR legislation 2018 I require/hold minimal information to be able to fulfil an order- I will never contact you unless I have an order to fulfil and require more information, by placing an order you are accepting to be contacted. It is your right to at any time request me to tell you what information I hold and/or delete it. I will never share your information to any 3rd parties any information I do hold will be held on a secure, password protected device/computer and/or in a lockable filling cabinet. I do not hold your information longer than necessary. Only orders with deposits are written in my diary I do not keep any records of enquiries. Charities & events. Each year a small selection of charities and events will be chosen to be supported, these are ones that are close to my heart and also local. Please understand this is my livelihood.
